Why we exist
Turning lived experience
into shared support.
ECCU was established in 2021 to address the challenges endometriosis creates for women and girls of reproductive age, including its effects on wellbeing and participation in society.
Our founder’s own experience of living with the condition helped shape the organisation’s purpose: to create understanding and help others find support.
We bring together different areas of expertise and collaborate with organisations and institutions that share our goals. Our main office is in Kampala, with a mandate to work across Uganda.
